I'm a bouncy, opinionated, messy haired marathon running (!) bibliophile. I wear high heels and have delightful ankles. I'm a devoted drinker. I want a French Bulldog puppy whom I shall call Batman and dress in capes on occasion. I would also like a pug, whom I shall name Mister Woo. He can remain capeless, but I will make sure he wears a diamante collar at all times. Both dogs will submit to repeated snorgling and high pitched squeals that only a dolphin would normally tolerate. I hate Reiki/psychics/mystics/frauds with all my liver. Also, I'm firmly against Jazz and poetry/poems/pomes/ peoms or any of that stuff. I believe in the healing power of ginger.

I couldn't be less interested in what a 23-year-old dude does with his spare time, especially when it falls neatly into the category of Technically It's Illegal, But Come On. Kind of like when that snowboarder got his medals taken away from him for testing positive for marijuana...I imagine it's NOT a performance-enhancing drug.
And besides, isn't the (fake) outrage more embarrassing for those pushing it--they're the ones holding up an athlete as a role model, for God's sake. I love to watch the man swim, but it's not like every time he hits the wall, he brings us one step closer to curing cancer.

Smoking anything is a mortaller for a swimmer. The sport is 50% lung work.

OK. I have to tell somebody. I went to gym on Monday, again on Tuesday, dragged my sorry carcass around on Wednesday rubbing all kinds of sore joints (not the michael phelps kind) and muscles, played football on Thursday, played football on Friday, went to gym on Saturday.
I'm going to have a weigh-in later and I am sure I'm almost one ounce lighter as a result.
Missed footie at 12 today (which I was sure I was going to get to), even though I got up extra early to get work done to make time, but I'm going to go to the gym later.
Soon I'll be positively Phelpsian in my fitness.

The man in a top of the world athelete that achived 8 gold medals in 2008 alone. Perhaps it should be the perception of marijauna that should come into question and not Michael's choices. I understand if it was a steroid or growth hormone but the marijauna was obviously taken for recreation...... and you know what..... he still has more Olympic gold medals than everyone posting on this website put together.
