I Hate Psychics.

I do.I'm using the word hate here Melvin. I hate them with all my liver. Bullshit artists of the highest and stinkiest order. Fraudulent halfwits and poppycock merchants. Mumbo Jumbo supremos, liars and spoofers, cold reading emotion sucking gonifs who ought to be hog tide in a public square, whipped raw and then blunderbussed with rock salt.
Oh yes, I detest them. I have ALWAYS detested them.
But after reading this, I am going to add flat out dangerous to my other gripes.

Hat-tip to PZ

That is feckin ridiculous. Was the 'psychic' not interviewed in all this?
To be honest tho, the teacher who visited the psychic is more dangerous - anyone that gullible / impressionable should not have children in her care. What if the psychic told her to kidnap one of the kids...?

At first I read this as "I hate Physics" and wondered if you'd fallen out with Dr Maroon. But no, all is well with the world.

Er...

Any friday gingers to cheer us up a bit FMC? How can I count down to beer o'clock with out one?
I suppose I could lift one off the street, but then I'd have to take it for walks, keep it out've sunlight etc etc.

Barrie's about an hour north of Toronto.
How smart is the mother for getting the GPS and taping mechanism to make sure her daughter's safe? If not for that, her girl would have been removed most likely.
Shocking.

It's fucking outrageous, Why wasn't the psychic made to explain his or herself? Why on Earth would the school even go to those lengths on such a ridiculous notion in the first place? Nuts.

The whole thing’s spooky FMC. Conan replied Oh Canada, which is a line from a song by Joni Mitchell who is, you’ve guessed it, Canadian. Your blog had been invaded by maple demons and needs to be exorcised by a psychic.

Initially I thought this post was about school and you not liking science.

I thought 'Oh Canada' was from the South Park movie?

'Oh Canada' are the first words of the local anthem, I think, and perhaps also its title. Borrowed by Joni, and Sth Park.

I thought that was 'Blame Canada'?

Sniffle! Invaded you say, perhaps we need a seance? I'll bring the rum. There's rum at those, right?

The song was “a case of you” which is analogously spooky too, with the rum, and all the other spooky stuff happening here on the FMC ether.

I wouldn't knock a case of rum I must say.
